Dhananjana Weeraratne is a skilled engineer who enjoys physics and teaching. When he took his year 12 examinations (London Edexcel GCE A Levels), he received full marks (100%) in his physics papers and has been transferring his knowledge for over a decade. His outstanding achievements (equv. ATAR of 99.8) earned him scholarships from the world’s top universities.Dan attended the famous Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, which is recognized as one of the top four engineering universities in the world. He has a Masters Degree, a teaching credential, and a qualification to work with children.
Having taught graduate engineers for over a decade, Dan started learnphysics (formerly The Raistl Tutoring Academy) to share his passion for physics and coaching. After spending over a year researching and analysing the VCE and AP Physics syllabuses, he has prepared lecture notes and exam-style questions that clarify complex ideas and have proved to enhance students’ performance significantly. At no additional cost, all students can contact Dan directly with physics questions at any time.Dan lives in the Victorian suburb of Bentleigh with his wife and daughter. When not engineering or tutoring, he enjoys reading, travelling and gazing at stars on his Celestron Telescope.
