Hello,
As the year grows to a close, I wanted to write and thank everyone who studied Physics with me this year and their parents.
Thank you for choosing me to be your Physics tutor, for regular class attendance, making this subject fun to teach, and for the reviews and recommendations you have left me.
2024 VCE Results
In keeping with tradition and transparency, here are some stats of students who took the VCE Physics exam this year (results are based on students who shared their results with me, and a few students have not told me their results).
Number of LearnPhysics students who took the VCE Physics exam in 2023 = 23
Top mark = 45 (Raw 42.5) [Last year it was 49]
Average result = 35.4 [Last year it was 36.3]
100% of the students who used the Learn Physics App scored above the average score.
100% of students said they got into their chosen course, or can do their course through an alternate pathway). This is really the only purpose of your results – to get into a course of your choosing, and they do not have much impact later on in life apart from this. There were lots of students who got high 20s too, so do not use the stats above to judge yourselves!
LearnPhysics donated towards curing blindness in 4 people for each student who took the exam. This was done through the Australian Fred Hollows Foundation and I think that is a great takeaway regardless of your results.
